Do it at feeding time. When our female went thru a round of Baytril.....I measured up the dosage then squirted it on a piece of bread (small pieces if it required 2 bites to get the dose without soaking the bread so that it would drip) I offered her the piece of bread before I put her food in and she'd snatch it right out of my hand and eat it up. No fuss, no muss.....what a relief! 'Cos you haven't seen stubborn 'til you see Lightning! It was just plain white bread & the method was okayed by her vet.

A word of warning so you don't freak....her appetite wasn't so hot while she was on this Rx. Lots of people have had the same experience with their reptile's appetite going down while taking Baytril. I baby-ed our ig the 14 days she was on it & fed her her favorite foods & didn't worry so much about the variety, etc. ....if she'd eat it, I was happy.

Here's hoping your ig likes bread!
