The "good news" is that there was a time when this condition was considered untreatable in reptiles.

Did the vet mention having to scrape out? Knowing how you keep an eye on the green guy he probably had not progressed to that state. Am wondering if he needs his diet modified for the sore mouth...you know mushy food rather than leafy? Would it help the healing process any to sprinkle acidolphelus (sp?) powder on his food. I KNOW this is not a yeast infection but treating with the powder is a good boost to the system plus should conteract the bad side effects of antibiotic.

And Bon....I don't even want to talk about those BUNNIES!!!! I'll have to show my Sarah---and then listen to endless whining about her wanting one. They are cuties!!

P.S. Tell the green guy he's not supposed to get sick when we are in the middle of bragging about how great he looks!! Sheesh! Silly iguana!
