for an *indoor* enclosure, i'd go with *plastic* mesh instead of wire ~ cheaper, easier to work with and strong enough to be climbed + jumped on ... i use the kind with 1/2" squares ...
black is the most "invisible" color btw ...

wouldn't use the plastic for an outdoor enclosure tho cuz it wouldn't keep predators *OUT* ...

what you want to avoid is something with holes/squares that are too small ... the igs gonna climb on it no matter what so you want to make sure that its nails aren't gonna get *stuck* + then let him climb to his heart's content! :)

i got a *huge* roll of black plastic mesh at Menards ...
