In Reply to: Christy...I have a friend who lines his potty tub with damp paper towells.. posted by JNelson on March 13, 2002 at 22:09:10:
Right now we have an easy to clan little tub, when we move we will hav a big garden tub and I dont awnt to have to scrub it like mad eveery day lol (ys im lazy hhehe). I know she will STILL poo in the tub and then ill just clean it but I prefer to ahve a diffrent spot, that and being that even baths at th same time dosent seem to chang her potty time, she potties when she's gotta go and thats it, my shceduls so goofy to that id just confuse her more if I tried to set it.
As for pooin in the potty if you train yours to do that im sending DD to you for some training LOL. Ill give the wet towels a try.
: seems to do the trick for him and then he just scoops them out of there, cleans it out and replaces it. Hope this helps.
: Personally, I potty Baby in the tub every day around the same time. He will go in there with or without water. He recognizes the familiar smell of the bathroom and is used to the routine. The last two days when he's had to go in the afternoon,(I wasn't home to poop him) he's walked down the hall to the bathroom and poopied right by the toilet. Hmmmm.....think I'll be as lucky as that one lady who trained hers to go on the potty?! One can only dream....*grin*
