If you have a hungry ig, I think that is cruel. At times, my ig can eat 3 meals per day.
I bet you anything it is the move to a new cage. He is still angry and doesn't want to go in his cage. When we moved our last ig, he wouldn't go to the bathroom for a week. Eventually he returned to normal.
My bearded dragon still hates to go to the bathroom in his cage-- he will scratch to get out and if I'm not there, sometimes he will hold it. He only goes every few days because of this, although he won't eat his food everyday.
It can take a really long time for an iguana to acclimate to a change. Try soaking him in the tub daily to stimulate him. If it continues, get blood work up to see if anything else it going on.
