I have a question about UVB

I hope that I can remain nameless as I dont want to look totally stupid but really want an answer to my question. I am a bit confused about lighting. When I first purchased my bulbs for my iggy's enlosure I remeber reading the package and it stating UVB on it, now this is a regular style bulb. After im doing more and more reading I am thinking that the only actual UVB source is a long tube like bulb (like a flourecent shaped bulb) Is this correct or are there regular "bulb" that produce UVB's ?? My pet store is totally out and I can not read the package as I have thrown the box away long ago.
