Iguanas are wild animals and biting is a defence . However with care and time they can be mellow . Iguanas are not mean or violent they are simply a product of there enviroment . If you give him room and meet his needs he will be fine . You also must always be aware of what your doing most bites are the owners fault for not paying attention to what they are doing .
