Bleed didnt bleed to much compared to other things ive seen (so far mines only 33 inches long) HURT yeah it did. Make sure you are READY for an iguana theres Alot to know and alot of cost involved. My website is linked below to give you some more info.

: I was planning on getting an iguana real soon, but I am concerned about being bitten. I have read through all of the forum and have seen many posts of people being bitten. When you do get bit does it hurt real bad and bleed a whole lot? The iguana I was thinking of getting is around 6 to 7 inches SVL and was tail whipping and opening his mouth like he was 10 foot long. I thought that was quite funny, but was concerned about trying to tame him down because I really don't want to be bitten. And also, how well do iguana's tame down compared to other reptiles, and around how long would it take for him to be calm and let me handle him? Any advice would really help alot and also, thanks in advance for any replies! =)
