(tho i don't understand *why* someone would *want* an alligator ~ hey ~ i don't understand why my mom wants 5 cats either ... *grin*)

seriously, i would think that there would *have* to be some sort of "legal loophole" for people who have had reptiles *before* they passed the ordinance ... ????

check out KS's Herp Law forum + see if someone there has any input for ya ...
