the hosp. where i worked, it was routine to call a plastic surgeon in whenever there was ANY facial stitching to be done ...
they're better at stitching nice + neat to minimize scarring (as opposed to whatever resident doc happens to be on duty in the ER) ... so it's not necessarily a really bad bite ~
