I know when I brought dd home I have ended up chopping her food into teeny tiny pieces. We have found that anything lager than teeny tiny pices and she has probles swallowing it. I know if you contact mr d and ig chick they can give you alot of pointers. Good luck with the new guy/girl.

: I am going to go check out, and most likely pick up an ig next week. From what I know, he's malnourished, and hasn't been in very good care. Its the usual story: girl goes away, leaves ig with parents. parents don't know what to do with it, don't know proper husbandry, the ig is neglected. They feel bad, and want to find a good home for him.

: it sounds to me like he probably has some MBD. I'll be taking him in and finding him a good home after he is better. I'm going to schedule a vet appt. for him, and get ready. I'll prob. end up forking another 60 bucks out for an MVB.

: I was just wondering if anyone here had some advice, and things to keep in mind before I bring him home.

: thanks in advance,

: -Lesya
