: Yes I have adopted more then one that was in need of care . One was to a vet in Canada . Others where to people who had time to devote to the animal that I was not able to give or could have spent better elsewhere . I have been doing this for 18 years . I have held the only iguana rescue licence in the state of Maine for around 15 years . I am just trying to let you know what your getting into . Many people love to help and thats great . Sometimes people rescue the animals and never adopt any out because there standards are to high or whatever reason . Sooner or later they are over run . You say you have one iguana and you have never been to the vet yet so I am guessing you don't have much experience . I am guessing you about 16 and live at home with your mom and dad . Thats just my guess though ..
