Okay, I am NOT disagreeing with you at all -- I agree that iguanas and ALL animals, for that matter, need to be cared for properly.

However, when I read the post, it seemed to me like the person was asking for ADVICE. I didn't get the impression that he REFUSED to turn up the heat -- I got the impression that he was just inquiring as to what the night time temperature could/should be in order to keep his animals safe.

Did I miss something that you others saw? Or, maybe you know this person better than I...maybe he has a history of being irresponsible or something that I don't know of. If not, you may want to cut him a little slack and just tell him what minimum heating requirements iguanas have during night time hours.
