Anyone who says or thinks that iguanas are unresponsive and feelingless can come help me with the massive enclosure cleanup we're facing this morning. As this is my busy season, I've been on the road all week until last night. Mary has had the Flu, and so has not been able to be attentive to Bug. He has been well cared for, just no extra time rubbing, scratching, and generally cooing to him. (Mary is especially good at cooing to him about how pretty he is, and what a big, masculine iguana he is.) When I got in last night, I went straight to bed. Well, seems that without his daily dose of ego-stroking for a few days, we have been rewarded (punished) with a massive poop-painting. And just when he was going back on full feed from the winter blahs. It's too bad to describe... Oh, well, about 3 hours of intense cleaning while his magesty lolls in the tub will set things right.
Regards,
johnT
