I will be taking in another green iguana this weekend. This wasn't something I was planning, but I simply couldn't leave her in her present condition. This is a female, approx. 8 years old, recently lost a large portion of her tail, has numerous old burn scars and a couple of recent burns. She's missing most of her spikes and a couple of toenails. Despite all of this, she is sweet and beautiful. She's been on a steady diet of cat food and broccoli and has had no UV except for outdoor exposure in the summer. Apparently this has saved her because she shows no signs of metabolic bone disease. I will be posting pictures as soon as she arrives. After an initial recovery, I will be looking for a special home for her. Please email if you might be interested in giving her a better life. I'm in Ohio. Thanks!
