: There is no such speices as a blue collard . The only speices known as blue iguanas aka grand cayman iguana are cyclura nubila lewisi if you have one of these it is worth about 50,000.00 of course they are not legal to have as there are less then 200 left in the wild . What you have is a Green iguana ( Iguana iguana ) . The word blue was first used by Fluker farms about 6 years ago to boost sales by marketing iguanas with a little more color to people that did not know better for a higher price . : Bogus iguana names for green iguanas that I have heard there are many more .
