Hi everyone! I was just wondering if any of you could share any stories or personal experiences with long-distance ig-leaping. Sometimes when I have Guapi out of the cage, he leaps off of my shoulder to the ground to try and make the great escape. It's cute, because he looks so damn funny spread eagle, soaring through the air, but I'm concerned about his fragile little body hitting the hardwood floor from such a distance. He never seems like he's hurt himself, but I'm concerned anyways. Also, I feel bad
because I don't know if he's jumping because he wants to explore, or because he's stressed out. Man, are those igs fast! Guapi has his first vet check up tomorrow and I'm hoping that the vet can tell me what the black, raised lumps on Guapi's tail and hindquaeter are. I hope it's just a fungal infection that I can treat with an antibiotic. That's all for now...If you have any insights on the leaping, drop me a response. Thanks!...Laura & Guapi
