Christy: My ig free roams on the second floor and I am home during the day, so I will visit him and I watch him. He will jump from his cage to the bed and back again. Some days he will do it over and over. Other days he will go down the hall and climb up the back of my daughter's door (in her shoe bags) until he's at the top of the door. Or, he will climb on her desk until he can get to the window. Some times he will follow the same route over and over. I can't say they can play games, but I will leave little trails of fruit and he will follow them to get his fruit.

Also, if I have to be gone for a while, I will put the TV on and I SWEAR he watches it. As soon as he hears the noise, he will turn and watch the TV. He also likes airplanes and will look out the window and tilt his head up. I use the top of a large dog pen for his basking spot and I have a board from the cage to the window. I keep a heating pad there, so if he wants to look out the window, he can lay there for a while. There's a bird feeder outside and it does give him lots to watch. Since he's not bored, he doesn't climb the curtains or on top of the dresser or anything.
