I've heard that if you lower its body temperature low enough the human will become inactive and make the human easier to handle. Then you can use anything, dig nail clippers, regular nail clippers or a melting took to get the job done. OR you can just have it declawed ..... but of course I only have 1000+ years of experience so you might know much better than me (wink)
