: While we haven't personally played with window screen and the radiometer, I do have some information. It all depends on what the window screen is made of believe it or not! If I am remembering correctly, when it comes to aluminum screen, each screen the light passes through reduces the amount of UV by 5 or 10%. It's been so long since I got that information I may be off a little.

I would definately not reccomend reptariums for any iguanas. My juveniles can tear through them and then you have to catch them. they are not strong enough for adults either. i heard that they are trying to make an iguana-proof repatium but i don't know how it is going. the only way that i have found them useful is for travel cages for docile adults and cages for outside basking during the summer.

: This summer (if we make it -LOL and have the time -no LOL) we plan on playing with the radiometer, the natural sun and different windows to see how much it changes depending on what the screen is made of, what kind of glass the window has, etc. We've had plans for some time to further our own testing of UV lights to go with some other tests we have been conducting but with everything that has happened the last few months, it just hasn't happened yet.

: Sorry I couldn't be of more exact help.
