Since our enclosure is vinyl coated wire, we just hang Bug vertically on the wire of the door, and clip away as we stroke his head to get the "closed eye" reaction... You could easily make a frame about 3 ft x 2 ft out of 2x2 lumber, and staple hardware cloth to it, making a stand to "hang" your ig on while clipping...
