: When we first started taking in unwanted iguanas, rehabbing them and giving them away for free, we were told by the DOA in our state (NH) that we did not need a liscense. When we decided to get a little more organized with the rescues/placements we actually read our state laws and found that anyone adopting out reptiles (with or without a fee) needs to be liscensed. Thankfully we caught the DOA's mistake in time before we suffered any harm.
: It's in your best interest to find out what, if any, laws in your state pertain to placing animals before you jump in -it could save you a big headache!
: Good luck and Cheers!
