T-Rex makes the Active bulbs, Zoomed makes the Powersuns .... both are Mercury Vapor bulbs. I could post all the information here, but it is already up, in detail on our website. I've given you the link below.

To answer your questions that are not covered on the website .... the flood would be better for your application. A 160 watt flood will work nicely for you. We have had no fire concerns using these bulbs but do make sure you are using a ceramic fixture and not a plastic one.
