hold him every day. Start with 5 minute sessions and slowly work your way up in 5 minute incriments. With time, he will begin to calm. It took me 3 months to get a juvenile to eat from my hand, and thats when I wasn't looking at it. He is still a bit sketchy and hard to get out of his enclosure, but the progress shows! He's only opened his mouth slightly once or twice in the past couple weeks, and isn't as frightened when I am holding him.
