Without what you and Ig chick do those poor reptiles would be gone by now. Good luck on finding out whats causing it and I pray it stops soon. Sorry to hear you lost the other snake.

: Well.. We're hanging in there... Sanity is at a premium right now as is sleep. A HUGE "Thank You" to those of you that have assisted us with donations. I know that it's never easy to do but even harder in times like these. Your gifts are greatly appreciated.

: Unfortunately, now that everyone is getting proper care, we seem to have accelerated some form of amoebic infestation. Since the animals were being kept in colder than normal conditions metabolisms had slowed and few symptoms were seen. Sadly, we lost a ball python to an yet to be determined illness but feel that all indications are some form of amoeba. Blood pathology will be done Monday hopefully. In the meantime, we've had our first (second, third, I think we're up to ninth) experience in "tubing" a snake for medication purposes. Suffice it to say that retics and tree boas don't really enjoy this process. Hopefully, this will head off a full blown "epidemic" and we'll be able to save the remaining snakes. Fortunately, we don't think that it can pass from snake to lizard but we are watching to be sure. Somehow, I had a feeling that we were going to be looking at something like this even before we walked into the store 2 weeks ago.....

: Thank you, again, to those that have been kind enough to help. Oh, BTW, rumor has it that our services will soon be needed again...
