MALES:
breeding season usually centers around the winter months (although orange hues began to kick in for Tarzan around late august, the first plug was in october/november, and the last one {I hope, lol} was February. He still has his orange pigment in places [ie: spikes, arms, dewlap]). Usually, a male becomes very "determined" to mate with almost anything. Most people provide a "luv sock" for their male iguana, or a towel. For some, the iguana will settle for no less than a menstrating female, or other human.
Some iguana's go through breeding season with just an appetite decrease.
Females may or may not become aggressive. I'd like to think of it as cranky -- would you be happy with over 50 eggs, smushing your internal organs, inside of you? =P Females will have a decreased appetite, and may show signs of "aggression".
