We have to buy our crickets 1000 at a time per size so we've become pretty inventive at keeping them alive! Buying crickets on line is way cheaper than buying them at the pet store.
We use poultry mash (we buy at Blue Seal) for bedding because they can eat this as well as live on it.
We use cricket water -I think it's Flukers brand but I'm not sure. Once a week we exchange the cricket water for either apple, orange or potato halves.
They are given a large dish of the salad we feed our igs and other critters that eat it.
We maintain a temperature no lower than 70*
