It took a while, but at last I am here with good news. We took in two more iguanas... And both are healthy!
They are both about a year old, and neither show any signs of MBD... SO nice to get a few in that do not require immediate vet attention!
And we got the rescued Savannah Monitor back from the vet today. He had severe impactions, needed surgery to remove it all. The vet removed 63 grams of junk from him... And the poor little guy only weighed 214 grams before the surgery. So... Almost half of his weight was impacted cricket exoskeleton, bark, and sand. What a nightmare. He is pooping already, which is always a good sign :-) Now we have to wait to see if his internals will return to normal function after over a month of retaining everything that went in. Antibiotics and syringe feeding for a while for this guy.
