: I picked one of these up, and have been using it for a week with my adult male (5ft) green ig. I had been using Reptisun 5.0 florescent tubes up until this point. My ig is like an entirely different lizard. His colors really are brighter (not just under the light), and he is way more active and feisty than he's ever been. I know many in the ig community aren't big on these, but after seeing the short term benefits, I have to wonder why?
