IF you had variouse knowledge able people in the field where did the risk come in? I understand you did what you felt was best for your child but im trying to understand how with INFORMED people in the field that you were friends with HOW the misknowldge was great enough for you to belive that your unborn baby was at a risk? Im just coriouse as to how the risk with someone that had "informed" friends seemed so great to you when someoen like myself with little actual hands on (other than via the net) frienships am aware that the risk is minimual and more likely to happen from something other than an iguana? Take this as NOT an attack as its not Im wanting to understand your side of it. IF the wife does become pregnant (its usually possible lol) unless you have done a method to make sure you can no longer have children, if that happens WILL the new iguana be safe in your home permantly or will that one be rehomed?

I found good homes with references for all my animals... Now that my daughter is almost 2 and we have decided not to have any more children, I am ready to go back to one of my first loves keeping and taking good responsible care of a few reptiles...
