A few more questions...
How should I set the lighting up? Should I place the bulb on one side or in the middle? I am thinking on one side to create a gradient.
If I do go with a RHP, where in the cage should I put it: on a wall or on the floor--- I don't know much about these--never used them before.
Also, I would like to make a hide box for him. Should I place it on the warmer side of the cage or the cooler side or in between? Should it be up high or on the floor or inbetween? Or will he end up deciding where it should go?
I don't mean to monopolize your forum time, but you are the only one helping out. Sorry for all the questions.
Thanks again.....Mike
: Flooring tiles can be tough. Individual squares can leak through the seams making for an eventually smelly enclosure as well as an unsanitary one. It will also contribute to the early demise of the floor due to rotting wood. We've had decent luck in sealing Mel's enclosure with 4 coats of poly over stain and then laying indoor/outdoor carpet down. Of course there's a shop vac handy for daily cleanup as well. If you have access to vinyl flooring and want to go with that see if you can get a single sheet of it tominimize the chances of seepage. Once you lay it down seal the perimeter seams with silicone. Of course, keep in mind that Jupiter most likely won't be able to get a good grip on it and it very well could be cold especially first thing in the morning. On the other hand, Jupiter most likely won't be spending too much time down there. Your call.....
