: Sleestack has been a real hyper pain in the @ss lately. As you can see here, he can climb anything in our home including doors, fireplaces, etc. And, although he can climb up-- he then falls down :(
: A week or 2 ago he climbed this French door and hit the ground hard...coughing and spitting up blood. I almost had a heart attack, needless to say. It turned out his teeth cut up his gums and he smashed up his face some (his favorite past time). It could have been much worse so we are very thankful. Since then, we have been forced to put plexiglass up over this particular door to inhibit his climbing. His mouth scabbed up and is healing up fairly well. He will have scars, but he already did in that exact area so it probably won't look much worse. Thank goodness he has never broken anything with his antics...falling 6 feet onto tile floors can't feel too good. Breeding season cannot end soon enough for us!!!! He is the energizer bunny...just keeps going and going and going
I had to cover mirrors, glass AND Plexiglas because Max was smashing his face into all of them. Keep an eye on yours to see if he starts with the Plexiglas. They see themselves in there and supposedly think it's another male trying to take over their space.
