typically very skittish and with a lot of TLC and time, you will have a tame little friend. Of course, that's no gaurantee he'll stay that way...they are wild animals, after all and can be pretty tempermental.
What has worked well for me with my Ig is holding him twice a day in 15-20 minute sessions. Also, tub training him (getting him used to using the potty in the tub.) The key is trying to keep your sessions around the same time each day. Iguanas like routine. Within a few weeks you should see some results.
