After having birds for 15 years (noisy and dirty), a rabbit (who ate the corners of my new carpet and my wicker stand), Max is a welcome change. I didn't really want a pet, but I "ig sat" for Max for five weeks and kept him. I'm an older adult and don't want the hassle of a dog and my daughter is allergic to cats.
