I agree... a ceramic heat emitter is prime. Some, like Mr. & Mrs.D prefer to use radiant heat panels. I use CHE's and ave had zero copmplaints.

I guess it just comes down to the individual and personal preference.

any type of light at night may stress the iguana, since in the wild, they have minimal light during the night.
