i never said you didn't like animals, but this is a place to talk about reptiles and i don't appreciate you coming in here and saying that animals aren't as important as people and we shouldn't care about them as much as people. in a way, we have even more of a responsibility to take care of animals that we keep as pets because we came along and took them out of heir natural habitat. we OWE it to them to provide an even beter environment than they would have in the wild and if we don't plan to do so and we think they aren't as important as people then we shouldn't have them in the first place, should we? animals are the true innocents of this world, they can't provide for themselves in captivity, it's up to US to do that. most people on the other hand, can take care of themselves, with the exception of children and ill people. the point is, people do a lot of horrible things whereas animals generally mind their own business. nathan's right it does sound like you've been brainwashed. now, this doesn't go for all christians, but a good number of them make me sick. they run around spouting off about a god that may not even exist and tell others that if they don't agree with them then they're damned. how about "judge not, lest ye be judged"? i never have and never will "invite jesus into my life". i'm doing just fine without him. (if he even exists, which i doubt) there, enough said. back to this forum being about iguanas.
