The toe shouldn't cause any problems. My ig has several broken toes and they've never bothered him. But you should definitely schedule an appointment with a reptile vet in your area. Just a little comment (I'm not trying to lecture)..
It's great that you got the ig for free but you are supporting the store by buying supplies from them (more so than you would if you had bought the ig). Another alternative is to order your supplies from a mail order supplier.

http://www.herpsupplies.com is great. I've ordered several things from them and I've never been disappointed with the supplies or the service.
