: First of all I have had these iguanas for over a year and they are pretty young and not that big so they have plenty of room in this mesh cage. Secondly, I have supervised them hours on end every day and they get along and dont fight. I do realize when they come to full size I will have to either sell the a couple or get new cages but for now it looks like a suitable environment.
: As for the humidity, no its not 100% perfect humidity for them, but these are captive bred and are not in need of a perfect climate like in columbia.
: Some of you are just fanatical and need perfect circumstances but i think my iguanas will do just fine. the only concern i have now is if they can rip through the mesh but thanks for your comments anyways.

: : I have to concur that there is not nearly enough room for all those igs in that cage. I have a chicken wire cage, also open, in my office, so guess what- my whole office is 80-90 degrees and at least 80% humidity ALL THE TIME! I also have tropical plants and some poison dart frogs in here, and I like it hot and humid anyway, but unless you are willing to dedicate a whole room to these guys, you're going to have a problem. My two girls don't get along (as I found out during Jose's multi-hundred dollar surgery to repair the damage Lee-Zard did), so I have a cage 3x6x6 high divided in half for them. But they can come out when I am home for run around time when I can supervise. You really need to rethink your aquisitions ASAP.
