They make a commercial artificial diet now. It comes in powdered form and you mix it with water to get sort of a playdoh type consistency. This can then be shredded or served in slices or cubes. The stuff works GREAT! Try Mulberry Farms on the web. Of course I'm sure any other place that sells silkworms would be certain to have this stuff.
