There ARE other brands out there - I just haven't had a need to find one - yet. We've been running an 18"x24" panel for 2 years straight now with a temp controller to set the temp. Absolutely zero problems. Only thing you might want to look into is some form of automation to raise/lower the temps to emulate day/night periods.... We do all of our business with HerpSupplies.com....
