: Thanks, Craig....
: I appreciate that.... Heck, Mrs. D doesn't agree with me at LEAST 5x a day so I never expect everyone else to be on the same wavelength as me all the time...LOL
LOL. Been married myself for 5 years, so I know all about this! hee hee hee
: Just to make sure, know that none of that was directed at you, Craig. I just get a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach when anyone inexperienced and unemployed attempts to incorrectly educate others regarding care and husbandry issues. I can hear the phone ringing in the back of my head.... And I just wanted to head Josi off before she saw the opportunity to rib me for once again recommending full rooms... I'm surprised that her hubby, Chuck, hasn't C.O.D.'ed his race track to me for storage.....;)
Don't worry, I wasn't concerned, and I certainly understand you thoughts.
: Nice to hear that things aren't progressing at the same pace over the border up there. Of course, it's more difficult to find snowshoes that will fit an iguana and try explaining why the 4' American alligator is wearing a fur coat to a member of PETA....;) Hopefully Candace over at Reptile Rescue is getting a bit of a breather finally.
Snowshoes LOL. The boots are easy to make, but my hands are quite sore from the sewing of little parkas! Unfortunaltey, Candace still has lots of work on her hands. I won't blame you for not knowing, but Calgary is some 2200 miles from Toronto. Over the last 2-3 years I am proud to say that there has been only one pet store selling igs, and that was at a $90 price tag (Calgary has a population of approx 900,000)
: The only way that we are going to accomplish anything in the world of herping is if we do as much as we all can to educate people and you do an excellent job of that in your own right, Craig. It's when the UNeducated start drawing up regulations that we start having problems as we are all beginning to see i.e. Maine, NYC, South Carolina, Tennesee, the HSUS etc...
: Buckle in and keep doing what you're doing, Craig. It's an uphill battle to say the least...;)
Not as much as I'd sometimes like to, but for any I can educate, it's better than none!
