: i was wondering about some foods, and if they'd be ok to feed my iggy. mostly different kinds of squash. are pumpkin, yellow, and zucchini ok. i have never tried them, but it would add variety. are there any dangerous types of squash? how about fresh peas on the pod and rhubarb leafs? any input would be appriciated
: k
I don't think rhubarb is good. Certain parts of rhubarb are poisionous to different animals.
Squashes that are good -- butternut, spaghetti. I'm sure there are others, but these two I know.
Zucchini (green and yellow) is okay for a treat once in a while, but supposedly doesn't have any nutrients.
Green beans, sugar snap peas, parsnips (tastes like a carrot) are also good for your ig. Mine seems to prefer the sugar snap peas. I cut them up in teeny pieces. Mine also likes certain beans.
