Check with remodeling contractors. They often throw away perfectly good glass. *We* sure do. (Glass companies might not be willing to give away used glass because they are then giving away the product they sell.) But you will not be able to cut some of it, because a lot of glass is tempered and uncuttable. But then, there are standard sizes, so you may be able to select matching glass from different jobs.
How about a cage with five wooden sides and a glass front? That way you don't have to match pieces of glass.

: I live in Calgary, Alberta, CA. I'm interested in knowing if anybody knows a where to get glass for building cages, so far the places we've seen it is almost just as cheap to buy a pr-made aquarium(NOTE: This aquarium is not for an Iguana, but for a snake.)
