: This goes for ANY PetCompany in the country kidz.....
: Call the store itself. Talk to THE manager as opposed to A manager. Ask who the Regional Companion Animal Coordinator is for the store. Get that information BEFORE you begin to describe what you found in the store because if you ask for it afterwards the manager will most likely know what you're up to. Tell him/her what you found. "Erin" who was the "lead person" had no clue tonight when I called so I didn't waste my time. If yyou get nowhere with the store manager, then call the Regional person and let THEM know what you found. See where that gets you. At all times be professional in your presentation.
: THEN, if you feel like causing some more trouble track down a local Animal CRUELTY investigator as opposed to animal control...The IS a difference. Tell them everything that you found in the store. You can try calling around to area animal shelters/SPCA's to find an ACI.... Then put a call in to the state vet and/or USDA office. Many times they are one and the same. Tell them the same thing. Be prepared to submit a written complaint as many stave vet offices cannot do anything w/o written complaints.... Then if you like, follow up with the BBB, city boards,
: Good luck... Keep us posted...Feel free to drop us a line directly if you feel you need to....
