Glad to hear that Roach is doing well.

From everything we've seen around here I would say nix the light altogether when you can and invest in a radiant heat panel. Iguanas prefer darkness to sleep in. Yes, I know, I can hear the collective groan now because I'm sure everyone is getting bored seeing me suggest this. But I can't help it, they just make more sense to me than anything else out there right now. Proof for me is the 18"x24" panel that we've been running for close to 2 years CONSTANTLY without a problem. Run the panel through something like ESU's temperature controller and you're good to go. What can I say - I think it was one of the best $100 I've spent in my life so far.

Take a look around the net for radiant heat panels. I know thatHerpSupplies.com carries them. Enerjoy has their own site and there are a few other companies out there that I need to look at. with five more 4-6' tall enclosures in production now I'm going to need to maximize every dollar. With any luck at all the non-profit paperwork will be filed next week and we can start officially "begging" for things....LOL
