Freddy's New Name: Freddy Krueger

Hey guys,
Havent been here in a while. Last time I posted I was considering putting Freddy up for adoption because of my newborn baby, but decided that he was my baby too. (AWWWWW !...) Anyway, I did, however, have to cut down on the handleing, so I haven't really noticed how much his nnails are growing. So when Freddy climbs on to my hand and holds on for the ride, he digs his CLAWS into my hand and I gush blood ( hence his new name .)

So...how do I clip his nails? He is pretty active in that he doesnt just sit around, but he isnt agressive, know what I mean. In other words, if he is on me, or if I am holding him, he is on the move. Either making his way to my shoulder or head, or clinging on the front of my shirt. How am I supposed to keep him still enough to clip his nails? Can I just file them? Is there anything I could put in his cage to keep them filed. Help out if you could.
