Thunder looks like that right now even as I type.....except in the spots where the shed has come off. I thought I read somewhere (Lord only knows where) that the blues fade into normal patterns after the ig matures. Don't know if that's true or not. The blue color that I see on our igs develops just as the skin is about to get "crusty" and shed off.

If the ig has never had a blue head before, then my instinct would say that it is a shedding NOT because it is a rare iguana.
