Hey peoples,
I've done everything I've read and been told to tame my iguana. I can't get him to calm down when being held, and over the last 3 days he has bitten my finger drawing blood, and tonight bit my fiance's lower lip as she was sitting down to handle him. We no longer think we can put in the time to handle him to the point where he is comfortable being handled, Especially if he is being this violent with us.
If anyone in the San Francisco Bay Area would like to take him in and tame him, we would like to give him up. He is about a year old, we have had for about 6 months, little over 1.5 feet nose to tail. Color seems good, no recent injuries, he lost the tip of his tail as a hatchling so the noraml discoloration and texture difference is present.
If interested or know of a good place that I can take him, please email me.
Thank you much,
JDS
