I too had been biten many times with my Mr. Igums while he was in season, he even sliced my eyelid with his claw. He was very interested in mating with me. Chasing me around the house, jumping at me, very dangerous. For starters I always kept a large towel around my neck. When I would go to take him out of his cage I would first cover him with the towel, he would bite down on it then I could get him out no problem. No love sock ever worked for him, only the clothes I was wearing that day. I would give him my shirt, bathrope or nightgown and he would decide which he wanted. Because he was so involved with my piece of clothing I was always able to get him back in his cage while he was making whoopie with my clothes. I only retrived my piece of clothing at night after lights out and he was asleep. This went on for 2 months and I'm not looking forward to it again this year. But my Mr. Igums is the sunshine of my day and I will do what it takes to get through the tough times. Blue, purple and green were the colors he really went after. Once he clenched down it I could just pick him up with no worries.
