so we have an animal that CAN handle light/UV but since it lacks pigment in it's skin it's going to have a more difficult time with thermoregulation is it not? It will have to change it's physical location in regards to heat sources more frequently instead of darkening/lightening since it will not have the necessary pigment to perform this I would guess.....Yes/no?
And, as you pointed out, all of this on top of the possibility of other recessive traits/potential weaknesses... Hmmmm. Let's see, John/Jane Q. Public have a hard enough time with keeping "normal" iguanas healthy. I can't wait to see how the whole "albino" scenario plays out.... Thanks for the edumacation creature.....
